If you’re a brand that’s struggling to generate social media content, you’re not alone.
The number one issue brands are facing today is that they need SO much content on a day to day basis to post across social media platforms, and they can’t generate it quick enough – and sometimes not at all.
While one or two photoshoots each year used to cut it, they simply don’t anymore. Between needing A LOT of video content to post across Tik Toks and Reels, and photo content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more, brands are realizing they need to kick their production into high gear. But the question becomes – how?
The answer: content creators!
There are two types of content creators you could work with: influencers, or UGC content creators.
Let’s break it down:
Influencer Marketing allows you to tap into other people’s audiences. This allows you to increase brand reach and also get content (think: sponsored posts) to repost to your own profile too. These posts can require a deep budget if you’re working with well known influencers.
UGC Content Creators, on the other hand, create content so that it looks as though your brand created it in-house. It won’t be posted anywhere else except your pages, and you don’t need to give credit back to the creator (you paid for full rights to the content!). These budgets are usually smaller than if you were working with influencers.
As a brand, you need to first get clarity on which avenue is right for you, and to do so you should evaluate the following:
- Budget
- Audience
- Goals
- Marketing strategy
Making the right choice here could increase your sales exponentially, so it’s worth spending time evaluating these needs and before taking action!
