Instagram Adding Multiple Music Tracks to Reels

Instagram has announced a new feature that allows users to include up to 20 music tracks in a single Reel, with the ability to have them overlapping or merging into one another. This update is expected to change how you utilize trending sounds on the platform. Emma encourages trying out this new feature ASAP, as the Instagram algorithm tends to favor those who use their new video features.

TikTok’s Eventbrite Integration for Promoting In-Person Events:

TikTok has introduced a new Eventbrite integration that makes it simple for you to include links to publicly listed events within your TikTok videos. This integration allows TikTok users to become event creators by hosting events on Eventbrite and promoting them directly to their TikTok audience. Emma notes that this is another way TikTok is contributing to its role in facilitating the discovery of artists and is now providing creators with a larger platform to connect with their audience offline.

Pinterest’s Improved Board Sharing For Driving Traffic and Expanding Reach:

Pinterest has added a new way to raise awareness of users’ Pin presence through improved board sharing. The new feature enables you to share your personal reflections on a broader scale while driving new traffic to their Pins. The share button now creates a short video clip with an automatic share to story option, similar to Spotify’s sharing feature. This update aims to help Pinterest boards and creators gain more exposure, especially among the growing Gen Z user base.

The Expansion of Instagram’s Notes Feature:

Instagram has announced another expansion of its Notes messaging feature, which now allows you to leave notes on both Reels and feed posts. These notes are temporary, lasting only for three days, and can only be left by mutual followers. Emma explains that the feature aims to spark interaction among friends and provide you with new ways to form exclusive communities with their followers. However, we question the long-term goal and effectiveness of the Notes feature, considering it acts more like a semi-public DM.
