#1 SAVE TIKTOK DRAFTS WITHOUT POSTING
A big win for content creators! You can now save your TikTok drafts to your camera roll while they are still in draft form! Typically, you would have to post the draft in order to save the video to your camera roll, keeping the pesky TikTok watermark, which prevented further editing to the raw footage.
Now, that raw footage can be exported without the watermark. Yippee!
#2 THREADS (FINALLY) ROLLS OUT NEW FEATURES
The Threads hype train has run out of steam as engagement continues to decline- so Meta made the call to roll out new features to keep users coming back.
One of these is the ability to attach voice clips to posts, which is expected to have a broader impact on international markets where many languages are spoken but literacy levels are not as high.
TikTok has officially launched an e-commerce platform, TikTok Shop, giving creators more ways to earn money by selling products directly through the app.
TikTok may not be the first social media app to offer this experience (Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat already have this feature integrated), yet TikTok Shop feels like a natural extension to a place where products are a huge part of the conversation, hence the hashtag, #tiktokmademebuyit
#4 INSTAGRAM AUDIO CLIPS FOR NOTES
Instagram has announced that an audio clip option is coming to Notes in the app.
As shared by Instagram chief Adam Mosseri (in his own Instagram channel), the new audio option for Notes will provide another way to engage via the group prompt option, which displays a Stories-like bubble at the top of the IG inbox for all of your contacts to see.
